Colonial Heights City Public Schools Reviews
The teachers that work for Colonial Heights City Public Schools are amazing. Each and every one of them takes their time to genuinely help their students! I have made all A honor roll since second grade, when I moved here, and I would not have been able to do it without the help of all of my wonderful teachers! In high school there are many clubs. I believe there is a club for everyone. Everyone has somewhere they can fit in. Since the city is so small, Colonial Heights City Public Schools are a family.
I came from another country and directly placed in Colonial Heights High School. At the time, I did not speak very good English but with time, effort and mistakes, I happened to speak English before 6 months since I started school. Staff were great, they were very helpful, they helped me to progress in my second language and also to have a good High School experience. However, I wish they would've improved certain things while I was still in High School. For example, food is not the greatest. I've gotten sick twice because of the food, they didn't have varieties. They mostly serve pizza and burgers and raps. At the same time, there was not the diversity as anyone is hoping to see. Not that is a problem, but very few understood that I didn't speak English and made fun of me. But besides those two things, the overall was great-ish.
I like the challenging education programs that they offer. I would like to see change in the the teahcers and students relationships, and more opputurnites that will aid and push those who are not academically gifted forward as well.
