The teachers of the school were nice and engaging. They were very helpful and encouraging for what we wished. The students made it difficult to learn because most of them did not like school or think it was necessary because their parents did not need it. The school was great, but the students need more discipline. The teachers should try to find more ways to make them more interested but it's more a parent problem than a teacher or school issue.

The problem with Colleton County is its lack of funding. Sadly, students here do not even know the education and experience they are missing out on because they know no standards above what they have been given. For many of them, this is the only education they will ever receive and for others they fall behind easily in college courses because they are not properly educated. The staff is loving and unfortunately have no say in the funding as well but they do the best with what they have.
My experience at colleton has been an amazing experience! The teachers are all around amazing and the kids are too. I love this town and community so much but can’t wait to continue my path in life.
