Colfax School District Reviews

The community knows each other well. I personally enjoyed my time here for the most part. They prepared me for college but didn't. They definitely played favoritism on students while I was there though. For a public school, there weren't very many problems. The school doesn't quite have a drinking or drug issue, but even so, they have little seminar-like events to bring attention to these issues and further educate the academic body.

At Colfax High School students feel a connection to each other and to their teachers because of the small class sizes, it is easy to learn and a lot of fun. The sports are amazing and a good time to participate in. I would like to see some changes made as far as diversity, there is little diversity but considering the small town there is not much that can be done to change it.
Colfax has some great teachers, but also the worst administration that I have ever seen. A great deal of these ponderous individuals could be replaced by chimpanzees, and I highly doubt there would be any change in productivity whatsoever. I used to think that the school was pretty average, but after going to college and listening to what other people's highschool experience was like, I have come to the conclusion that Colfax needs to start over from scratch.
