The Coahoma Independent School District is a decent school with great teachers and a diverse option of classes to take. Through Coahoma, I’ve been allowed to take dual credit classes to help prepare me for college. While it’s a good school, I would like to see improvement in how we give our clubs money to participate in other events and more attention to all clubs within the school.

Coahoma is a really good school and the teachers there really go out of their way to make sure that you are getting the information and the format needed for each subject. Each teacher is always willing to be there and help you if you need it. Their always helping kids even if you don't have them as a teacher they will offer to still help you if they can. The subs their amazing to the school picks good people to come in and watch over their class and if they can they will try to help you as well. Things that could maybe change would be the lunch a little not everyone likes their lunch and a lot of people don't eat because of it. Also, another thing that can change is maybe senior activities or maybe student involvement in some of the rules and in what the school does in general. Also may taking down some of the dress code and making more realistic to where it makes sense. Other than those little flaws coahoma is a great school for kids to go to and get their grades up very well.
It is a very good school district. There is a lot of room for growth and accessibility to extracurricular activities. The school is small but it helps when it comes to one on one help with sport and academics. The only problem that I have ever seen was the small town drama. Other than that the school is amazing and plenty secure.
