Coahoma County School District Reviews
I loved how when I use to come to school here that it felt welcoming. I didn't have to worry about getting yelled at or getting searched for weapons. It was a nice school in the beginning and I wouldn't change it for the world. After my tenth grade year there were a many of changes that came about. For the next two years we had a new policy on what to wear and we had policy’s on how we should be taught. The teachers we once had where all fired or either quit because of the day to day things that went on. Now all we have our substitutes in our classrooms. These teachers do not care if we learn or pass or fail. I would like to see our school grow back into the welcoming school that it once was. I would like to come here in the future and know that my future kids are being taught by actually teachers who care for there success in life. I want to be able to say yes I attended Coahoma County High School with out looking stupid or getting dirty looks.
I absolutely LOVE this school district, the teachers and the families. In response to the previous comment regarding the leadership....how many people "always" agree with their boss or anyone acting as an authority figure? Disagreements will happen. Overall, Our principal is doing a fine job. I strongly recommend Coahoma County
Coahoma County is an alright school but with it being a D school not so much. Although, the teachers and college readiness are excellent. They really go that extra mile for graduating seniors going to college. Preparing them for the classes, scholarships, and what to expect in a normal college or university.
