Clovis Municipal Schools is an amazing school district with most teachers being dedicated. I saw the community come together to rally around students in the midst of tragedy. I’ve seen genuine support from teachers trying to better their students. What I’d like to see is more opportunities for students who are not athletic. Clovis has an amazing band, that
places first in most competitions, & pushes its limits to succeed. Allowing the band more money to expand their program would benefit the school. I have no doubts that they could compete at a higher level and win! Also more compensation at a state level to problem solve as to what is needed to help teachers in the classroom to promote higher education, with more assistance for them in the classroom.

I love Clovis Municipal Schools! It's a great place to learn and make friends. There's always help available to you and the teachers generally want to see you succeed. There are many extra-curricular activities to choose from such as Band, Choir, Art, Welding, Accounting, Personal Finance, Sports, etc, to keep you busy. The schools keep their students very involved and they give us the ideal "high school experience."
I loved the chance to take classes that gave me the opportunity to struggle in order to grow! My father is a math teacher there, and my mother and him pushed me not to be with him but learn to be on my own. I doubled up, and did what I had to do to get better. Soon enough, I learned that being involved in certain activities was not as important to me as getting a job, and taking classes that would prepare me for my future, something that would lead me to nursing school. I enjoyed that growth.
