I loved the chance to take classes that gave me the opportunity to struggle in order to grow! My father is a math teacher there, and my mother and him pushed me not to be with him but learn to be on my own. I doubled up, and did what I had to do to get better. Soon enough, I learned that being involved in certain activities was not as important to me as getting a job, and taking classes that would prepare me for my future, something that would lead me to nursing school. I enjoyed that growth.

I am presently a senior at Clovis High School where I have been attending for the past three years. I have had a wonderful experience at this school. I am a member of National Honor Society and have taken AP classes since Sophomore year. I enjoyed taking these classes and the determination that it took to complete the classes. My time at Clovis High School has and will continue to prepare me for my college classes and my future! However, I do believe that that the drive that once encompassed the teachers has been removed because of the decrease in salary that has been introduced through the years. I worry for future students and their education because of this lack of drive, but in no way do I blame the teachers because it is hard to give your job your all-in-all when you receive so little in return. I do hope that in the future salaries and statements will be corrected to positively affect the education of the next generation. After all, we are the future of this country.
My daughter has been in Barry Elementary since kindergarten and has had the most amazing teacher's for role models. I could not have asked for a better experience for her educationally and the care of the entire staff is amazing. She will be moving on to middle school next year but the foundation has been set. I have no doubt that she will continue to excel in her future education. Wonderful school!
