What I have always loved about this high school is the ability to try any sport, group, or club, and the ability to find new ways to learn. For me, I was able to take college classes all through high school and the teachers were willing to help me with my schedule and I was able to be apart of the drama club, band, and softball team. What I would like to see in the future is for our science and math department evolve with new teaching tactics overall.
I am a Senior at C-S. I am happy to say that my overall experience at Climax-Scotts was enjoyable. The teachers do a good job at connecting with the students and make classes fun and a good environment to learn in. They're is a great amount of clubs and sports to get involved in so how small of a school it is. With that being said, a child is able to be involved with different activities at the same time, which might not be allowed at a bigger school district.
Small school with kind people. Everyone knows each other. Teachers are nice. Classes are average. I am able to take college classes that the high school pays for which is very nice!
