Academics activities, and most teachers are outstanding. They do a great job of preparing students for college and the work world. However, the maintenance is poor, noticable mostly in the bathrooms, and the food is an absolute abomination! But the administration of this district is extremely arrogant and tyrannical and will not listen to a THING parents say. They repeatedly ignore requests from huge numbers of parents and teachers for things such as later yearly and daily start times, and also ignore suggestions of changes from such things as scientific studies about educational performance. They also tend to allocate money for unnecessary egotistical projects, such as turf for football fields, and not for necessities, such as better maintenance and cleaner facilities .

I love Cleveland High School. The teachers are passionate and effective and there are improvements and additions being made to facilities every year! However, the administration has more bad and uncaring people than great educators and there is little effective help for the College process.
Overall, I think that my time at Cleveland High School has been memorable. During my four years here I have been exposed to a few very eye opening experience. I would like to say that I enjoyed my time here and that the academics exceed the average public school, but there also are some concerning factors. A majority of the concerns comes from the student body and their ignorant, naive, and immature way; which is to be expected and there is nothing you can do to alter that.
