Clearwater is a great place in general. It's very tight-knit, and it isn't surprising considering the size. Around 100 people per class, so students get plenty of one-on-one time with teachers if they need it. Teachers of core classes enjoy challenging their students and pushing them to the next level and beyond where they expect themselves to be.
The arts programs are amazing, especially considering the lack of funding from the state. The arts department staff do amazing things with the little they have and continually impress everyone who sees their work.
It isn't a very diverse place, but no small town is. In my opinion, Clearwater is one of the best districts I've seen and I would recommend it to anyone trying to find a good arts program or academics that will push students.

Small town, very safe and good education for such a small size. Not much diversity but a great atmosphere, and I never had a teacher that I didn’t get along with. Balanced in the involvement of students in sports, extracurricular programs and the art/drama department.
Clearwater is a small town in south central Kansas with an excellent array of academic courses. It's a community with great opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities including sports, STUCO, Drama Department plays, Forensics, etc.
