There are a lot of good things about Clear Brook High School. For students who want to excel in any are, there are plenty of opportunities for them to do so. There's a variety of advanced and AP classes offered, a variety of sports, a great audio/visual program (which I happen to be a part of), a legendary robotics program, and, of course, what seems like a million different clubs. The sheer amount of choices that a student has at this school can be overwhelming at first, but once I learned to navigate them, the independence and growth that it brought me is something that I wouldn't trade for anything. This is especially helped by the school's great community - there's a diverse array of students, so anyone can fit in, and most of the teachers are supportive and truly care about their jobs. Overall, I had a pretty great experience at Brook. Keep up the great work! Go Wolverines!
I entered my high school, Clear Falls High School, in the year 2017, and it was an enjoyable experience. I do wish someone would have told me to really push myself in order to be able to get into the colleges I want. The school doesn't have very many traditions because its a newer school, but other schools in the district do. Also there isn't very much pushing if you're in a regular class. But overall I enjoyed my experience at this school. everyone who I met was very kind and nice. I also spent my four years on the dance team. it was the best experience. It taught me so much more than just how to perform at school functions. It taught me how to manage a healthy school and dance relationship while maintaining a social life. I also gained the position as an officer and captain my junior and senior year. That taught me how to be a proper leader and also to work even harder to maintain everything I had achieved. In conclusion I recommend attending any school in this school district!
Clear Creek Independent School District is considerate of its students and staff especially during this difficult time of COVID. CCISD is constantly monitoring the cases in each school and notifying parents/students if any classmates have caught the virus. CCISD cares about the health of its students and staff and I am glad to be a part of this district. The district also has various programs to give students an idea of careers they may be interested in pursuing in the future. I believe CCISD is committed to making students prepared for the future. Although CCISD is a remarkable district, no district is perfect. Something CCISD can change is being more prepared for potential school shootings, gas leaks, etc. Our district has received threats in the past and I think to prevent such events to occur, CCISD needs to take safety precautions for their students and staff.
