As a recent high school graduate, I had a great time in Clear Creek ISD. I've made great student relationships and created everlasting memories within my extracurricular activities. However, I would've like some more college life preparation rather than a seemingly constant focus on academics. There were times when we were not given enough instructions to complete certain tasks and teachers or administrators would already expect us to already have the knowledge on how to do so. With the district's strong academic background, I maintained fairly high grades but I felt at times that the learning methods were somewhat formulaic. Some teachers seemed to focus on memorization rather than giving explanations that would help students to understand the topics further. In summary, I had a pleasant time attending this school district but wished that administrators conducted more inspection for these type of improvements.

I have been in the Clear Creek Independent School District ever since I started kindergarten. However, my journey ends this upcoming school year, as a senior graduating this spring. I loved each of the schools I have attended and are attending: Weber Elementary, Westbrook Intermediate School, and Clear Brook High School. These schools are welcoming, have specific customs, have a wonderful staff, and are diverse! I remember all the great times I had at each of these schools and I can't wait to make one more year of amazing memories as a senior. I'd like to see more changes made for the safety of the students. Thankfully there hasn't been any large casualties at the CCISD schools, but I would like to see an increase of security on campus. We go to school to learn, not to fear of our lives or others being taken.
Attended all 12 years in the district and had a good experience with the district. Had amazing teachers along the way and considered them as influential and kind. There was diversity throughout all the schools I attended, which was always educational on culture and thought variations. From my experiences, the schools I attended had a high level of concern for the well-being of their students, and the staff was always encouraged to cater to the student's needs. The district also attempts to cater to students by structuring GT, Science Magnet, and Omega programs for students in intermediate, and strong AP courses for High School. They offer plenty of AP courses, such as Psychology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Physics, Micro and Macroeconomics, and more. All in all, it is a good district from my personal experience.
