I attended CCISD from the 8th grade through high school- I graduated in 2020. I was able to participate in many extracurricular activities that were offered through the district which helped a lot when creating a resume for college applications. The district encouraged participation in community activities and there was a healthy environment of teachers, parents, students, and higher administration. The district adapted very well to the challenges they faced amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, transitioning well to an online learning environment. The only critique would be a lack of diversity among the student body.

I have been attending CCISD since I was in kindergarten. Now I'm currently about to become a senior in high school. From what I've experienced I am grateful to say how high-quality education I've received. Every one of my teachers has been impeccable in teaching, resources, and student bonding. Along with the teachers, there is a great history of CCISD to be acknowledged. CCISD first began in 1948. The first and original highschool built in the district was Clear Creek Highschool, the one I am currently attending. This High school is built on years of success and pride, and anyone can see that once you walk inside. The hallways include long glass shelves of past Clear Creek students' impressive wins and accomplishments. I feel inspired and truly admire the successful school district I've been apart of. Although, due to this high-quality reputation, the school has become a bit overpopulated. Therefore I would recommend establishing a lower student population policy.
School part of the Clear Creek Independent School District provide excellent education. They also offer very many extracurricular opportunities for students of all ages, catering activities to students in elementary up to students in high school. There are no issues with inclusiveness of students with diverse backgrounds, and provide many essential materials as well to all older students who may need them. One thing that could be improved is the amount of rigor. With quality education comes a lot of academic pressure under which some students may struggle and crack. To assure good health of students, this district can bring about small policies that ease up on students a little. Also, due to weather conditions that exist in the state of Texas, CCISD can also beginning informing students about delays or cancellations more promptly for the convenience of both parents and students. Aside from these particularly minor issues, CCISD is a great district for children to be part of.
