When junior year rolled around I was offered a great deal of opportunities. I enrolled at Oakland Technical Schools for Dental Assisting, which enhanced my experience greatly. My high school also offered to pay for my attendance as a dual enroll student at Oakland Community College. This meant by the end of my junior year I had a total of 6 college credits. I am currently in my senior year of high school, and by the end of this year I will have earned 19 college credits during my high school experience. I am truly grateful to have been handed such helpful opportunities. Even though the school offers so much to us, I have never seen such a lack of respect for the staff members. A lot of students at this school disobey rules, and disrespect others without consequence. Another thing I would like to see change, is an increase in diversity at our school.

Clawson is a small community so everyone knows everyone. The teachers are very personable and care about their students, not the money. The education is good from K-12, but is known to be a little lower than other districts around us.
I love the safety, and cleanliness of the school. I live in the district and over the years, I've seen it favor one ethnic group over another. There is little to no communication between parents & teachers. I've decided to move and change my daughter's school.
