I enjoyed the Arts and Theater programs, as I'm an entertainer. I also really loved the Culinary Arts program as that is what I'd like to pursue as a career path. The teachers are all amazing and helped me through any struggles I had with curriculum issues.
I'd love to see a change with the administration and the accessibility for students to them. I'd also strongly suggest a proactive program surrounding bullying as it is such a prevalent problem in CMCSS. There are also some serious issues with mold at my specific high school that should be handled for student health and safety.

Our school system is not the worst thing I have ever experienced but there are a few of things I would change in the CMCSS district. The school systems leadership roles are a problem. A lower level employee has more leverage then a high ranking employee in terms of roles, the rules they create and decision making I have found out of the years in the district. The higher ranking people should have the most power in the district. Another thing I would change is how the schools are designed and operated. Certain schools get less help and support then others, some are lacking in education skills or lacking a clean fully functioning school. The schools need to be updated and supportive to the students, so that they feel like their school is a safe and welcoming place to go to every year. Our district is not the worst nor the best, it has its issues and I hope they get fixed for the future kids that go to the schools in the area.
I’ve attended school at Richview Middle School and at Clarksville High School. Richview administration and some teachers were very rude and unhelpful. Those select people ruined my middle school experience. To go to Clarksville High right after make it seem like a dream. It didn’t look or feel like a prison, all administrators and teachers were very kind and helpful. Averaging my experience at both schools makes CMCSS an average system.
