I have been in the district since the 3rd grade and every year I would come out with new values, friendships and life lessons that I will treasure forever. Teachers and staff made my whole experience memorable and I hold each and every person very close to my heart. A handful of teachers at the district were my motivation for pursuing a career in childhood education, their love for their students and their passion left a mark in my life and made me want to impact the lives of other kids so that one day they can look back and remember that one teacher that believed in them and told them they could achieve anything they wanted. I have nothing but good memories from this district and they truly made it a wonderful experience.
I personally loved attending South high school. The teachers were all extremely helpful when answering questions and helping you develop an individual learning program. On top of this, they helped prepare me for college by getting me started on my college essay in junior year. I've played on three varsity sports at south and all the coaches were fantastic. In all honestly south made my highschool experience very enjoyable.
I go to Clarkstown North High School and went to Felix Festa Middle School, and I have to say, the academics here are GREAT! The level of college readiness at North is definitely up there. The classes are mostly rigorous and the environment consists of healthy competitions. Students at North are some of the smartest students you'll ever meet. At North, there are so many different college courses offered, such as APs, IBs, SUPAs, U at Albany courses, and RCC courses.
