I’ve been here since preschool and the community is amazing! The people especially school staff seem to really care about you.
Clark County is nothing to be so excited about. The teachers that love doing what they are doing, do an amazing job at teaching. Those that are trying to just get through, just get through. I would really appreciate some more heart in the school district to better help all students get their diplomas!
This is a great school that offers some of the highest ranked teachers in the math department. While it is strong in math, the English and science seem to be lackluster. The scheduling is a bit awkward as the freshmen go to classes at different times from everyone else to keep them from interacting with upperclassmen, this essentially ruins part of the highschool adventure. Some of the programs at the school are under appreciated as the district is more concorned in the funding of the band program. Others such as the "rival" of orchestra receive very little to no funding due to this. Other then these things, the school is located in a new building and allows for many opportunities to learn.
