City View is actually not that bad of a school but I would by no means call it great. The administrators are really working hard this year to improve the school and in the last few years its amount of clubs has doubled and is improving at a very rapid pace due to student involvement going up. U.I.L. is pretty big along with sports of course. We have a great softball and powerlifting team along with an AG program that works extremely hard. I love the theater program because of all the growths they've experienced lately and the sense of family I can feel there. Over all, the school is still growing and changing and trying its best but there are still improvements needed.

What I really liked about City View was that I always felt safe in that school, also they do not tolerate drugs or any kind of gangs. But really I went to City view because of their good academics, they care for their students, and it is a small school which is perfect for me since I prefer small schools, I prefer those kind of environments.
I love it here. In Texas we have this program called UIL and it's amazing. Everyone is so nice and are willing to talk to the new kid. The library has a wide selection of books. The band program is by far the best I've ever seen. The band director is amazing and she engages with the students. At
City View it feels like what you're doing and what you think actually matters. I would change the fact that there is no recycling program. I've watched teachers throw stacks of papers and students who throw soda cans in the trash. There is so much that could be done with that program.
