Some of the teachers at Churchill County High School are my favorite people. They care about their students and are willing to spend time helping those who are struggling. This is true of most of the teachers.
I also love many of the students here. Most are supportive and helpful, unlike students at some schools who are unnecessarily petty or rude. many of the students are also hardworking and honest.
Communication and organization could probably be improved at CCSD so people know what's going on and when and what their responsibilities are.

For a small town, it is an okay district. There is a huge focus on a couple of sports, and they produce great athletes. They are trying to encourage the kids to go on to university, but there is a huge focus on UNR. I would hope that they would expand the student's horizons.
Churchill County High School is like any average high school, but with an amazing sports program, a few very special teachers and staff members, and an interesting group of students. The school has some of the best sports and athletic complexes in all of Northern Nevada, and the school itself is well designed. I have had fun with being apart of this school community; the activities, the sporting events, the dress up days... They are all very enjoyable to be at. Like any school, there can be some things that can change to become more convenient. I know that there are many kinds that wish for more resources, especially for planning for the future. However, I have had an amazing experience at this school, and hope that it can continue on.
