Choctaw County Schools Reviews
Choctaw County High is a school like no other. We have a nice looking property which is well taken-care of. The student athletes are well talented, not only just on the court or field, but also in the classrooms as well. Academic wise, we have a large amount of of smart kids attending this school and receive several honors as well.
Life at Schs was not the best. There are no act prep courses for students to take. ACT scores are what get students a large amount of their scholarship money and there aren't any. There are also not enough elective courses available so that students can bounce around and get a feel what they would like to major in in college. I changed my major 3 times in college because I had not been exposed to certain fields and did not initially know what I wanted to pursue in life.
Choctaw County High School has always been dear to my heart. I graduated from there in the year of 2014. This high school taught me a lot about myself. Coming from such a small town you are not adapted to the larger (school) environment but I have adjusted and I thank all of my fellow teachers for their guidance and motivation.
