Chino Valley Unified School District Reviews
Located in a safe city, the district enforces safety to the max, which students are beyond thankful for. I would like to see cultural appreciation in all schools, as well as student participation. The new generation arising is being depressed, the school should work to provide positive reinforcement, such as classes about life, helping others, and diplomatic behavior. Standardized testing tends to be biased against people of lower income, it’s also important to note that standardized testing has prejudiced roots-standardized testing was developed in the 1940s as a way to keep Jewish students out of Ivy League schools. The District should enforce more student run activities. Making the need for a teacher's presence limited allows for students to become independent as well as being able to be resourceful.
The quality of my education and the commitment of many teachers contributed to my success as a student. The academic challenges prepared me well for college and offered many opportunities to reach the highest levels of learning. As an athlete I found there’s no shortage of talent but I did find that the direction or coaching was lacking. Although there’s no lack of effort from the athletic staff, there’s no true coaches for many of the sports. In my opinion it would serve the school greatly to invest in actual coaches that can help athletes perform their best and afford more opportunities for athletic scholarships in the extremely competitive California colleges.
Somethings that makes chino a well place to go to school is the people, they are very friendly and outgoing. The people are also caring and it's a diverse community were everyone can do what they please and not be judged. The schools also have good teachers who inspire students to work hard and that even though chino is a small community, anyone who works hard can succeed from there. I wouldn't be the person who I am today if it weren't for my friends, family, and teachers who have pushed me to always try my best.
