Chinle Unified School District Reviews
I attended Chinle Unified School District from 3rd grade to the completion of high school. Elementary and middle school were the best years of my education. The teachers and classes were informative and helpful. However, in high school it was less organized and poorly structured. I would change how much the school educators invest in the learning of their students.
Chinle High School on the Navajo Reservation, has opened many opportunities for me education and sport wise. As an AP/Honor student, my teachers and mentors had my back while being able to prepare me for my future. They were supportive but also taught me much about myself and my capabilities. They did their best to prepare me for my upcoming future.
My experience here with the Chinle Unified School District has been one of very few reality checks. Growing up here in Chinle was not always an easy life, but I believe greatly that the school district gave me the opportunity to find myself and evolve as an independent person. What I really enjoyed about the district was the athletics. Sports was always there for me growing up and the program here allowed that to continue. It helped keep me busy and also pushed me to do better in school. Not only did it keep me in check, but it also gave me character skills and a lot of time management. I would defiantly like to see more of a focused academic program. I feel that here it was too lenient and almost easy.
