Chilton High School is a great place to learn and find yourself. I rated my school 3/5 stars because there are great thing, but also very bad things about it. First off, safety is not an issue. I love how safe and comfortable I feel while at school. I however do not like how the school handles drugs and violence. They need a better way of going about consequences. Chilton High School has great athletics and students who support their school. School spirit is something that I love about my high school. Another thing about Chilton High School is our counseling, scheduling, and teachers. Our schedules can be confusing and messy. Our teachers and staff do not seem qualified to be doing their job. There also needs to be more available classes for long-term careers and college information.
Chilton School District offers students the ability to learn in a beautiful, small school environment. The teacher to student ratio is very close giving the students as much one- one- one time with their teachers as they need. It is so easy to make friends and the teachers are always willing to do thier best to help you succeed!
I like a lot of things about the Chilton School District. We have an excellent school culture and a lot of good resources. We have very good academics, teachers, and parent involvement. There is a lot of clubs you can join and we put a lot of dedication into our sports. There has never been a time when I felt unsafe at school. The departments for science and math have wonderful teachers. I am in band and enjoy art as well and those teachers and programs are wonderful as well. Our food is alright with the kind of budget we have for that but our lunch ladies are amazing and deserve all of the praise. Although even with all of that, there are a few things about the district that are not as great. We don't have a lot of diversity at our school. I don't necessarily feel as prepared for college as I should be and the facility and administration at our school is not the best. Although, overall, Chilton School District is one of the best schools in our area and is very great in a lot of ways.
