Chicopee High Public School is an inspiring, progressive, and welcoming school. This school is known for their Pride Week, where students are honored for, and partake in, self-expression and creativity, through performing arts, sports, and academic achievements. The presence of Pride Week over the years, has built a sense of togetherness among students from different class years, ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, and life experiences, which has created an environment of acceptance of others, and excitement towards learning. This school's annual activities, teachers, and faculty, assist students in their journey throughout school, and instill the importance and excitement of acquiring knowledge, while also encouraging togetherness, and the tools to discover one's identity within a community. As an alumnus, I can truly say Chicopee High School's culture has been a positive influence on my academic career, and my overall social development.

Chicopee public schools overall is great with a nice and safe environment you can ensure that your kid will be placed in a safe learning environment. Interested in sports, well chicopee public schools may be the place for you admit has sports diversity from basketball to football to division 4 to division 1 athletics. Now educationally, chicopee public schools are on an extremely high level educationally apart from western mass with overall excellent test scores.
The Chicopee Public School system is slightly below average in terms of curriculum compared to other schools in the state of Massachusetts. That being said, the education I received was still decent. I was able to successfully transition into college and I often felt challenged with the school's Advanced Placement classes. Chicopee has the best system for AP classes. The other districts in the area only offer AP classes as a one semester course. In Chicopee, the AP courses are year long courses, allowing the students to comprehend and learn at a reasonable pace. The school lunches in Chicopee are also really good compared to other districts across the nation. The district is trying to make all the ingredients for lunches fresh and local within the next couple of years. Overall the education system of Chicopee Public Schools is okay but the environment and teachers really outshines the other districts in the area.
