Chester Community Unit School District No. 139 Reviews
The school is old and run down. You can see the cockroaches running around in the hallways. They had to shut down a few people's lockers because they had become infested with the bugs. The food tastes terrible, the teachers are underpaid. They get a new science teacher almost every year. The only amazing thing about this school is the band. The band is amazing and it has nothing to do with funding because the band does not get any.
CHS is a great school in a small town community. With little incoming resources, they do a really good job prepping students for secondary schooling or entering their desired workforce.
It is a small community which i personally like. Everybody knows everybody which is really nice. The students and staff members at the high school and the grade school are lovely people.
