Cherokee County School District Reviews
Cherokee County School District has taught me a lot through the past years. It has brought me many friends, heartbreaks, knowledge, and great opportunities. The teachers and staff are fantastic. Ms. Moorer, the guidance counselor, is such a sweet heart. Mrs. Rice has taught me to work hard and try my best at everything i do. The staff is like family to the students at Gaffney High School. This school district has helped me through so many problems and taught me to continue trying my best. The friends i have made over the years will last me a lifetime! I am very satisfied with this school and school district.
I loved my time in High School. I was honored to be a part of the 2019 graduating class of Gaffney High School in Gaffney, South Carolina. The Cherokee County school district is full of a multitude of different teachers with different teaching styles. Though I thank many of those teachers, such as my Junior year chemistry teacher, for fully preparing me for the classes I would take in college, there were many that were there simply because they had to be. Though there were few they're presence still impacted me making it harder for me to better my studying schools for the future. Besides this minor slip up here in there, it was a fantastic school and district.
What I like about the Cherokee County School District is that they provide computers for all students and teachers to do work on. The classes are more than just paper work, note taking, and paper tests. With the use of computers, classes are more interactive than what they use to be. What I would the Cherokee County School District to change is that every student should be treated the same. Some kids get in trouble for a certain action, but another student who does the same thing doesn't receive any consequences. That is what I would like to see changed in my school district.
