Cheney Unified School District Reviews
I am proud to say that I am a student at Cheney High School. The small town atmosphere gives me a sense of family and community. The support the community gives to all activities, ranging from theater to sports, is outstanding. The sports teams are always a joy to be a part of. The administration teaches perseverance, respect, integrity, dependability, and empathy. You can see these principles shine through the students who attend Cheney High. I have attended another school similar to Cheney in size and location and I prefer Cheney High School because I am accepted for who I am and pushed to do my best.
In Cheney High School you can push yourself to achieve anything you choose. Cheney has one of the most difficult curriculums in our league and prepares you the most for college. We have over a dozen college classes you can take from math to science to wielding, you can even get your CNA in school. If your not into academics we also have state caliber sports teams, scholars bowl, forensics, BPA, debate, choirs, and art classes. Cheney has just improved more and more over the years by getting new technology, additional classes, and improvements to the school building.
It is a small school with a majority of white people. The education is great and the teachers are hardworking, caring, and extremely helpful. Cheney encourages everyone to get into some kind of extra curricular activity.
