Rating 3.87 out of 5 75 reviews
This school often makes learning fun and engaging with wonderful teachers and staff, who are clearly dedicated to their jobs. Mental health is taken seriously, and we have both a Chill Room and a school therapist to help out anyone who is struggling. I've visited the Chill Room a couple times, and it was always helpful. The school gets decorated for the holidays and there's usually some festive lunches, such as Thanksgiving lunch, Christmas lunch, and many other options. The lunches themselves taste really good, and there's plenty of options. We have many groups created by students, such as the GSA and Environment Club. There's plenty of others, too! We have many artistic courses and three language courses. The school gives many opportunities to learn something new. We have a pool, a theatre, an indoor and outdoor stadium, and much more. The school looks very modern and beautiful.
As a recent graduate of Chartiers Valley high school, I will always be a grateful alumni. I am a person with special needs. After researching and visiting many districts, we chose CV. In fact, we moved so I could attend starting for my middle school. I can honestly say it was the best choice. The teachers and aides and top notch. My classes were all inclusive. My counsilor was always available The building is updated & beautiful. I received a wonderful education that helped me become a high honor student my entire time there. My talent in art was recognized in middle school and I was able to excel in art during high school; in fact this year (senior year) I was in an AP Digital Art class. My grades & skills I acquired allowed my to get accepted in to the college of my choice. I am sad I graduated largely because being a student at CV was a great experience. I will miss it.
It's a pretty good school, very opening and welcoming. Easy to find friends and people with the same interests!
