Being such a small school has its advantages and it’s disadvantages. For example, you get a very close relationship with teachers, staff, and students but you also are stuck with those same students all years of school. Most teachers are wonderful at their jobs and genuinely care about the students while there are others that seem to be just there because they have to be and that they really don’t care about helping the students. Overall Chartiers- Houston is a great place to grow up and I have a ton of great memories from it. Also because it is a small school the majority or student participate in school events, sports, or other extracurricular activities.
There are many things I like about Chartiers-Houston school district. I went to Chartiers-Houston high school from 9-12 and I am very pleased with it. It is a very small school, I have about 83 kids in my grade. Which is very small compared to bigger schools with eight hundred kids in each grade. The teachers at the school are about average, in my experience there is teachers that really seem to care about their job. But on the other had their is teacher there you do not care about there job, which makes it hard to learn. But overall I did enjoy my time at Chartiers-Houston high school.
I’ve had a great time at Chartiers Houston. It’s a very small school with 99 people in my graduating class. I enjoy knowing everybody and knowing that there’s not a lot of drama to spread around. For the academics, the teachers are all kind and very lenient. Most try to help anybody who falls behind or doesn’t understand the subject. Our teachers want us to graduate just as much as we students do! All round it’s a simple school with very few issues and whatever issues it contains, I don’t have any problems with them on my day to day life there.
