Charleston School District creates an atmosphere that promotes top notch learning and a winning mentality. I've had the opportunity to attend other schools and have found that Charleston has an air of pride and respect that no other school has been able to achieve. When you become a Charleston Tiger, you become a representative of your school and community. These are things that cannot be taught as they are bred into every Tiger who has ever walked through the Charleston High School hallways. When you attend any event , you will find alumni in the stands cheering on their predecessors. I have had the opportunity to be coached by many alumni who volunteered to teach kids. These are community members who may not even have a child playing in the event. They are there because all Tigers are important and as a community, they show their utmost support to the new and coming students. This is what it is like to be a Charleston Tiger student.

Charleston has an excellent staff who cares about the future of their students. There are many opportunities for students to be involved in the school and community it's in. I wish they had more sports opportunities then they do. I would enjoy if it had a swimming pool. Charleston has a great facility and they are adding to the sports with an indoor field. Charleston school district tries to stay on top of all technology needed to improve the learning experience of the students. If something could change I would hope the school district can support all extra curricular activities such as dance, band and cheer to the same extent they do football.
The Charleston School District has such a great learning environment with many outstanding teachers and services. It offers students an amazing learning experience, many clubs and activities, a variety of sports, and an excellent band experience. It is a great place for all students to grow and learn.
