The Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School system is great but it could be better! There’s lots of help offered to the students, lots of events so that the students can get to know each other and the schools provide a “New student Club” where all the new students meet up and grab breakfast and get to know each other and share experiences. The schools are great for everyone no matter what you are.
They are very prideful in their education! They also have a lot of cultural activities, including many opportunities for students to travel abroad.
The school had great programs and always encouraged students to challenge themselves to take higher level classes. The teachers are great and they will always help you. The teachers towards your senior year help you with your college applications and help you understand how it will work. Most of the assignments will be more college oreintended. The sports in the district are great. Kids go on to college sports, and the sports themselves are competitive and give you leadership skills. The food is not best, but it can be good sometimes.
