The experience I had in the Central Kitsap School District was awesome. There was an Alternative school called "Central Kitsap High School Alternative" that I went to for one and a half years after failing 10th grade. I was able to finish 10th,11th,and 12th grade at this alternative school and graduate with my class on time (year 2000). Upon graduation, we were given the opportunity to decide if on out High School Diplomas we wanted to list the high school we had come from or the alternative school. I chose the high school I had come from because I thought that that would look better on applications, scholarships, and honestly everything that calls for a High School Diploma.

Teachers and staff are dedicated to helping you succeed and truly care about you. Academics were challenging and definitely prepare you for college. There are many clubs and organizations that you can join. As a National Honor Society Member, there were many volunteer opportunities available in the community. It is a safe campus and if you have any concerns about anything or need help with anything, faculty will always help. The counseling office helped me a lot with finishing up high school requirements and applying to college. The work the staff does is definitely appreciated and helpful. Overall, I had a fine experience at the school.
Central Kitsap is a great school! We are currently at the old building so the facilities are a bit outdated, but everyone is lively and heartwarming. The teachers are great but some of them are biased in ways. The Ap program here is rigorous and it sets u up perfectly for the ap exam with outstanding teachers .
