I would say my high school experience at Central Dewitt High School has overall been pretty average. In the school I have experienced problems with scheduling and overall getting the correct classes on my schedule. The teachers are kind of hit or miss all around the board. Some of them are very exceptional, others barely teach, and some are just overall kind of average. In the school I have experiences a lot of very nice fine arts teachers who have been very warm and welcoming. The social studies department is also pretty nice too. Since this is small town Iowa though, the diversity is pretty lacking and overall LGBT support isn't necessarily the highest. The school though is overall pretty okay.

Amazing course opportunities and great teachers! The classroom is very open to all, though some issues still come about. Plenty of chances to join sports, clubs, and other activities to get you involved in the community and peers.
Central Clinton Community School District is a rural Iowa school system that emphasizes values, success, technology and compassion for all students. Our superintendent, Dan Peterson is very involved with the students and teaching staff. His main goal is for every student to have a goal in life whether it be to continue into a higher education, a trade school or a job. He encourages students to pursue dreams and find a career that is enjoyable.
We are the home of the Central Sabers. Our athletics are highly competitive, our facilities are state of the art and our athletes are some of the best in Iowa.
Walk onto our campus in DeWitt, Iowa and you will be amazed at our facilities, supportive and encouraging staff and our kind students.
