Centerville City School District Reviews
Having lived in the Dayton area the majority of my life, I grew up hearing that Centerville City school were the best in the area. As my husband and I were raising our family, we moved into Centerville for our kids to have this great educational experience. We have not been disappointed. We feel our kids are well educated and have had a well rounded schooling experience for over 12 years now!
Centerville City Schools is a perfect district to attend for better education. They make sure you are prepared in every aspect from knowing basic math to college readiness. The teachers in the district all understand their role in teaching and perform phenomenally. Specifically, Centerville High school provides many ways for students to connect. The clubs, for example, along with the many sports provided, help students get involved with the community and strengthen leadership. My experience with Centerville has shaped me into a well-rounded person with a desire to help within the community and lead fellow students to do the same as well.
There are so many opportunities to have leadership roles and voice our opinion. Due to being in a military family, I've experienced many schools in several states. From preschool until freshman year of high school I was educated in NY, TX, CA, and VA. Each state treats public education very differently and it's really hard to switch from one curriculum to the next, especially not knowing what's going to be different each time. I moved to Centerville City Schools the summer after freshman year and it is been the best education I've had so far. I've never had so many opportunities and options. I've never been afraid or hesitant to talk to the teachers, counselors and staff members. Everyone is very welcoming and professional. Most of the teachers I've had at Centerville High School love their jobs and love the students they teach. I'm so glad I had to opportunity to move to this school and truly receive a long-lasting, genuine education.
