Center Grove Community School Corporation Reviews
Center Grove has so many dedicated and wonderful teachers! I am so grateful for their above and beyond efforts for their students. However, the administrators are really rude and seem to be disconnected from everyone. Like every other school I know, there are definitely not enough counselors. The school is also way too focused on sports! Most of the kids who attend CG come from wealthy families, but quite a handful are less fortunate. There is not much bullying, but there is overwhelming amount of drug users and dealers who are enrolled.
The Center Grove Community has a number of outstanding students and teachers who know the true value of education. The teachers and guidance counselors aim to serve the students. Students feel valued no matter the class rank or activities they are involved in. Though education is a top priority at Center Grove, sports and clubs are also just as important. Each teacher and coach knows the value of being a well-rounded student and how it can further both knowledge and character. The characteristics that they aim for all students to discover is kindness, intelligence, maturity, and identity. The community wants each students to discover who they are and why, and what to do in the future. By the end of their high school career, students are able to recognize their own voice and know who they are. Knowing this, enables students to decide their future and better the world in their own extraordinary way.
I’ve gone to center grove schools my whole life, starting at Maple Grove Elementary School then Center Grove Middle School Central and finally Center Grove High School. Personally at the high school I like my teachers and the early college program. I also really like the band and fine arts programs that’s Center Grove offers. What I don’t like about the school is how it is constantly under construction. There was construction when I got here, there will be construction when I leave. I do not think the school needed the construction it has and it was a constant nuisance to always have around.
