I moved to Heritage after one year in a different county, and comparing it to that school I've always found Heritage superior. The facilities are cleaner, there are higher level classes, and the block system of scheduling seems to have helped. However, at least at Heritage (I can't speak for Ringgold or LFO), some of the counselors and teachers have been less than satisfactory- if unhelpful or just childish. The social dynamic of the students can also be a bit dramatic, but at least doesn't seem to have as much in the way of "cliques" as my old school. Oh- and our band is amazing.

I have enjoyed my overall experience with Catoosa County Schools. I have attended Catoosa County Schools for 13 years and I have enjoyed my time here. I attended Woodstation Elementary School for K-5th grade and I enjoyed my time there. It was a great school and it helped prepare me for middle school. I attended Heritage Middle School and enjoyed my time there as well. I loved having Mr. Lusk as a principal and it was an overall great experience. I then attended Heritage High School where I have enjoyed my time there for the last 4 years.
Catoosa County Schools have a true dedication to their student body. There are some issues with outdated facilities and some smoking problems within the students, but overall a great school system.
