I've been a part of the CFB district for 13 years. Although I successfully graduated from Newman Smith High School, my experience at CFB wasn't great. I got bullied during my 4th grade year and the principle didn't take action the way one should've for the purpose of others. I had many teachers that were rude to the point where they've yelled at my face simply because I was defending myself. I've also had teachers that didn't care about the learning of their students and had one teacher that simply didn't know what she was teaching. There has also been substitutes that were racist, very disrespectful, and cocky. My overall experience was okay, not the VERY best, but I will certainly not let my future kids attend any of the CFB schools.

My overall experience as a student at Carrollton-Farmers Branch schools was great! There was never a moment in my elementary, middle, or high school career where I felt that I was not being pushed to strive for success.
I liked that Carrollton-Farmers Branch implemented certification classes with in their learning curriculum. It engages students and helps many figuring out what they are most passionate about to apply towards furthering their education in college or just being able to have a certification under them as they enter the work force after graduation. One thing I would change is adding basic classes on adult life such as cooking, sewing, money management, sex ed, and more.
