Carroll County School System provides my child with unique and innovative learning opportunities that are unmatched by any other school in our area. They are a leader in STEM education at all grade levels, and are committed to offering a wide range of academic and extracurricular opportunities. There is truly something for everyone in Carroll County Schools!
Central Clusters of Carroll County schools strives to deliver students a premiere education. Teachers at Central put their students first and teach way beyond what is necessary, so that they can prepare students for the world ahead of them. Administrators in the system and at the schools are consistently pushing teachers to improve their craft and better every student's overall education!
I enjoy the schools teacher choices. I have come across very few unreliable or rude teachers. Many of them are very creative, have bubbly personalities, and really strive to engage their pupils to learn and retain knowledge. They are also very kind, and try their best to work with students, especially those who struggle or fall behind easily. Also, I am happy with the schools current upgrades on security, student access to vending machines for nutrition and energy boosts for those who drain of energy quickly, and the student athletes. There are better quality foods this year and many students are happy. However, I would like to see some changes in structure of the schools. There are still poorly painted or built bathrooms. There could be some upgrades to help that. Also, I believe that connection strengths for wifi could be fixed. Many times there is poor or no connection, or it goes in and out, and disrupts student and learning activity.
