I have attended North Caroline High School for the past four years. I have experienced a lot of firsts and a lot of lasts. I have evolved from a young girl to a strong outgoing young lady. I have learned a lot and met a few teachers that were inspiring role models that I look up too. I loved all of my classes even the mandatory ones. It was great being able to work with your guidance counselor to help design the best possible schedule for you. The counselors also are always there and very kind/helpful. I loved all the staff and classes. Our principles were also amazing. We would do drills regularly keeping everyone safe and secure and within the four years that I attended North Caroline High School I had seen many new procedures and safety features be implicated.
North Caroline high school of Caroline county is like any other school, besides that we're a poor school. We make due with what we have as a community. What makes my school different is the students and teachers/ staff. There maybe, some knuckle head students. Out of that are some great students. An some teachers can be a grouch. But the teachers really love and care about their students and fun, and outgoing. Overall the school is great especially in academics and sports. I just wish the school had more funds.
Caroline County Public Schools was overall a great experience. The way that I felt as a student knowing the teachers and administrators cared about my well being as well as the rest of the students, made me feel welcomed everyday. As a student you know you are accepted by the teachers and that is very important. One thing I feel as though could change and have more attention brought to, is the students being disrespectful towards the teachers. The last two years in high school the amount of disrespect that was given to the teachers by students increased tremendously and I feel as though it needs to come to an end.
