Carney-Nadeau Public School was a place where I not only got a good education but a place where I felt safe. I have attended this school for seven years and have never had a problem with any of the faculty or students. A benefit from going to a small school means that you are able get to know all of the staff and can go to them with any questions you have academically at almost any given time. The teachers are there to help you succeed and they always try their very best to obtain that goal. At Carney, I believe that the students are put first and their needs and desires are always something that the faculty puts into consideration when making big decisions.
I enjoyed my four years at CN Public Schools. Class sizes are small which allows us to get the extra help needed from the teachers. The downfall with the small size of the school is the limited resources that we have. The school doesn't have a lot of choices for classes which makes it difficult to enroll in any advanced courses. On the bright side, we are able to take college courses at a local community college at no expense to us.
The small network makes it feel like family, but its drawbacks are many for the same reasons. I enjoy knowing all of my classmates and their families, as well as my teacher's and their families. Looking outside of the school, it isn't so beneficial. The lack of money to offer different classes and different choices for the students hinders our ability to be 100% prepared for college.

The thing that I liked most about my school is that since we are so small you can get more one on one with teachers and that makes in much less difficult to make it through high school. I would not change anything about my school I think that it is doing very well right now.
