Cape Elizabeth School Department Reviews
The Cape Elizabeth schools is an education system that promotes leadership, equality, and creativity. The school provides a wide variety of academic levels; AP to College prep classes, Cape Elizabeth makes sure there is a classroom level for your child. The school also has a wide variety of clubs and sports to make new friends or spend time enjoying a hobby. Even Though the school is heavily academic based, it also has many strong arts programs. Photography, painting and drawing, pottery, design, and many more artistic classes are available as electives in the high school level. This school does suffer in variety. There is a lack of Asians, Hispanics, and African Americans, which can lead to unnecessary attention or confusion between teachers who confuses students all the time.
Cape schools has prepared me very well for college- especially the emphasis on writing (it was a core focus in nearly all my classes I ever took). The school is very small and close knit, with jocks being able to join the debate team if they wanted to. The teachers are caring and intelligent people who make time for the students.
After twelve years of being in the Cape Elizabeth School Department, I have felt prepared and ready for anything college may throw my way. The teachers in Cape Elizabeth really want to see their students succeed, and the extra time they offer in the Achievement Center is invaluable and something that not all schools offer. I always felt supported and encouraged to do my best at Cape Elizabeth.
