If you attend or have attended canutillo, you know we’re real big about athletics and academics. It was a very competitive school in all aspects and that’s what really made me fall in love with the school. It always reminded me to walk around with a chip on my shoulder and never settle for anything less than the best. All of my teachers cared about my well being and my academics. They never left anyone behind and did everything in their will to help students succeed. You could tell the teachers wanted us to learn and have as much knowledge as possible, so we can one day succeed in the real world. The aroma in the air is succes and it feeds off on everyone. I’m not saying it’s the best school in the state of Texas or anywhere for that matter, all I can say is it breeds leaders and winners.

Ive been in the Canutillo school district for almost all of my years of school. This school has always focused on us doing better on school and getting all the help that we an get for college and any other help that is personal. If someone wasn't able to get anything because of economic reasons there was always someone that could help and provide for any supplies needed. Even with athletics, some coaches would provide any shoes or equipment.
Canutillo high school has great opportunities for high school student learn about their career path before entering college. The down fall about canutillo is that some teachers doesn't know how to teach well or doesn't teach at all. They let kids graduate even if they didn't learn a subject they were taking. Other than that, the spirit of the school is high and everyone gets along. Some teachers get involved with school activities with the students and create a special bond. The facility is nice and will help you out as much as much as possible if you ask. Some teachers gives you many opportunities to pass the course with a high grade and will take their time to help you out.
