Canton City School District Reviews
The one thing I really liked about Canton City School District is the fact that teachers were always very supportive. They were always ready to listen to students issues and give out advice.Overall, they were there to teach students and give emotional support. I did not like how administration never listened to teachers and ignored their views on how to make the school better. I did not like how most people in administration have never taught in a classroom and did not understand what the environment of a classroom was like.
I have had a good experience overall. The education is on the below-average but the diversity is great and so are the teachers and administration. We have great arts programs and sports programs. The administration is trying better to improve student life after high school. The school spirit is great there are teachers that actually care about your well being and your future. But there is still behavior problems and still, the education was poor.
My experience in Canton City School District has been a very good experience. I have become independent on levels on staying focus in and out of class. Being involved and helping classmates in class has gained the respect of my classmates and teachers. I would like to see the district change the transportation rule. All kids school age need to be in school and have the opportunity to either walk or ride the bus to school. The district has implicated a rule that if you live within a mile of the school, you will have to walk which isn't fair to students. Although the school is close to their home, they should have the choice to walk or ride the bus to school.
