Canton Central School District Reviews
Canton central is located in a rural, lower middle, upper lower socioeconomic area of upstate New York, and for the area the school is very good. It has small class sizes of about 80, which I find personally to be a great number. It is small enough where everyone in the class is knows one another, but not small enough that you easily get bored with same people. Canton has a strong music and arts community, putting on some of the best plays and musicals in the area. Canton also has a vibrant athletic community with participation from a large portion of the school. And while Canton may not be very racially diverse, the school has a diverse LGBTQ+ culture supported by the schools GSA. While there are definitely things to improve, I can’t imagine attending any other school.
Very welcoming and accepting school! The sports teams are amazing to watch and other extra curricular activities are also very enjoyable.
Canton Central School was a high school with many A.P classes. The teachers of every subject was very helpful and caring. The school staff took pride in educating the students. In the upstate NY atmosphere, the majority of the students are driven to become successful. There were a lot of after school activities both in sports and academics. The faculties kept the school very clean through out the year. This high school highly impacted my life as it, and the staff has encouraged me to pursue higher education.
