Cannon County was an experience! Sports and Classes were great! There are some absolutely fabulous teachers that help students get through hard times, encourage to work harder, and help students understand the concepts that needed to be learned.

High school, as I always hear, is the most important period of a teenager's life. I was doubtful of this in the beginning, but am now in complete agreement. There are people in this school, students and teachers, that I have met and completely adore. My school pride is not based off the school itself, but them.

If there was one thing I could change, it would be Cannon County's academic focus. They throw their attention into honors and AP kids, letting the other end of the line grow slack. Students in regular classes don't receive as much attention and they are allowed to fall behind because it's become something of an expectation. They aren't pushed like the other students are and it isn't fair.
I would enjoy more involvement including the outdoors. A lot of the rooms are very bright and white causing some issues with seizures. Most of the staff are friendly and willing to help, and great mentors. More exercise should be required just for the simple fact that physical activity can increase brain function and/or productivity. Lunch staff members are wonderful but do not always have excess to the freshest products available for school meals.
