I feel the diversity is lacking within in my school and the administration does not understand the student populace. Besides this, the teachers here are well-liked and are focused on college preparedness.

There is not college prep in this school system, they are ineffective at preparing their students, and many in my graduating class have flunked out/transfered because of this issue.
Growing up going to Canastota Central School's was a drag. There is a lot of small town drama and it seems like even at school, education is an after thought. Neither the students or teachers are motivated and it's very hard to keep everyone under rein with untrained staff that 'supervise.' However, they do offer BOCES for junior and/or senior year of high school which is a nice getaway.
