When I moved to Cameron my seventh grade year I was very nervous that I wouldn't make any friends or that it was going to be just as bad as my previous school. On my first day I automatically made friends (some still to this day.) Everyone was very nice to me and treated me like I had been there for years. I enjoyed the rest of my middle school years and now being a senior in high school I can still say Cameron High School is one of the friendliest places I've been too. Even though Cameron is a very good school it still has it's downfalls, teachers come straight to my mind. Some teachers are great, but some stick out as rude, disrespectful, and ignorant which isn't how any teacher should act (especially if they are threatening students) the teacher should be fired right away and not be given a second chance. Either way I'm happy to finish my high school career at Cameron High School.

Although it's the only school I have attended, Cameron High School, and the entire district, is and was, for me, a very good place to grow up. Every staff member was very friendly and understanding of any issues the students have or are going through. The school has a very strong sense of community.
The only negative things I could say about the school would be that a few teachers, although they teach having an open mind, do not have an open mind to other opinions themselves. However, they are still great teachers, and every student has at least one teacher they can really trust and turn to for support. The school is very clean and neatly kept. Cameron schools focus on learning, yet everyone still ties in fun and a laid back attitude periodically. It's sad to be leaving after this year, but I am looking forward to the future.
I had a blast! I thought it was an amazing experience and I would definitely send my kids there. My whole family is from Cameron and attended Cameron high.
