I did not enjoy attending this high school. The teachers were good most of the time, I think it was the other students who are responsible for my dislike of the school. Mr. Gerber, who was the principal during my high school career was probably one of the worst people for that job. He is back but as assistant principal now. My heart still goes out to the current students. All in all, Cameron R-1 High School is a district that tries to encourage and help its students succeed.

Cameron High is the only high school I have attended, to think of it, Cameron is the only district I have attended as well. Cameron is in no way a terrible school, it just has it's kinks, which I would imagine every school has. Cameron High School has tried to help every one our school get and keep our grades up by enforcing a "study center." The study center was for students that fell below a 'c.' After 2 years, they got rid of the study center.
I also wish that our school was more strict on the bullying policy. I feel like the only way our administration gets involved is when a parent of a student calls and complains. Overall, I do not think I would wanted to attend high school anywhere else.
Overall, I had a good experience. I have always been treated equally and never felt unsafe. This year's high school principle is excellent.
