I have been in the Camas School District since I was in 3rd grade! I came from the Portland area and saw the difference right off the bat! Camas schools are so different in that they pay very close attention to each and every student, trying to help each student learn in the best way possible for them. I graduated in Camas High School and I couldn't be more thankful for all the year they invested in me because now I am about to graduate the nursing program thanks to all those years that the Camas school district invested into me! Very high quality and very respected schools!
Review Camas School District
I really enjoyed my experience at Camas High School. The teachers genuinely care about the students and provide individual assistance to every student to ensure the best possible academic experience. The students are generally kind, welcoming, and passionate individuals with the potential to have an incredible impact on the world (and many of them go on to do so). The only complaint I would have about Camas High School would be the size. Every year, the school population grows (for good reason; everyone wants to experience all that Camas has to offer), and although the size of the school can be overwhelming for some students, they still seem to find a way to keep class sizes as small as possible and assure that each student is individually cared for.
I have always felt welcome in the Camas School District. Ever since first grade the academics have been challenging, the teachers have been accommodating, and the schools have aways been open to culture and diversity. There was never a day where I woke up not wanting to go to school due to administration or course work. Not only is the coursework excellent, the clubs and sports teams are amazing. I have been on the wrestling team since middle school and it has been the best experience of my life. The clubs and sports teams make you feel like your part of a family within the team. All around the school is amazing. Each day I discover something new, so this description does not come close to describing the possibilities found in the Camas School District.
