Callisburg Independent School District Reviews
For starters I would like to point out this was I was born and raised in. The outcomes, however, cannot be held at a susceptible rate. Firstly I shall start with the positive side of things. Callisburg can be known to bring the exceptionally talented from the depths of the unknown. Sparking the flame of interest and supporting academic rigor. And with all things considered this school brings realistic teachings to those who need it most. The problem, however, is that a major flaw in this school would be SWIM camp. This program teaches kids that responsibility can have loopholes. SWIM brings the mindset that they can put off their work until it is absolutely necessary to do so.
I moved from Frisco, Texas to Callisburg, Texas my eighth-grade year, I do not regret my decision at all. Transferring from a big 6A school to a much smaller 3A school is the best choice my family and I made. I have gotten more opportunities to participate in sports and clubs such as volleyball, track, powerlifting, FCA and UIL. Teachers are more experienced and truly care about making sure you receive the best education. I am in the top quarter of my class and have a 4.5 GPA. Callisburg high school is a great school, with amazing teachers and students.
I would like to see how the administration treats the students change. The UIL academic program was amazing. It helped kids mold into young adults and earn state championships. I am proud to be a wildcat. This school has prepared me for the future the best I could have possibly imagined. There is corruption within the administration and staff I would definitely not recommend going if you are an outspoken transfer student like myself.
