I love my school because it promotes school spirit. It gives us all a safe environment, and the students and faculty all seem very happy, overall. I do feel that there are some teachers who don't put in their best effort. There are some, however, that go above and beyond what anyone would ever expect! It has been these classes that I have most enjoyed! Many electives, sports, and clubs are offered at my school. I feel that is what promotes positive school spirit. My school has given me memories that I will forever cherish.

I love the calcasieu parish school district. At bell city high school, everyone is family, and what could be better that having family even away from home. We are so welcoming and we continue to grow within our school each year. I'd much rather bell city high school, in calcasieu parish, over any other school. Your teachers are more than just your teacher, it's a relationship where you bond with your teacher while still learning, you can not get any better than that! Parents are so involved and will go out of their way to help improve and grow with the kids. It's amazing to watch kids from pre-k grow into amazing and smart young adults, and the best part is, you have followed every step of the way, all because our little community we call bell city, gives you many opportunities like these to cherish and remember!
We have attended Prien Lake Elementary, SJ Welsh middle school, and Barbe High School. Great teachers! Advanced classes available for advanced students. College prepared. Many AP classes. Competitive athletics. Very satisfied.
