I was at a charter school until senior year, and I decided to switch to the public school. It was the best move of my life! In my school, we look out for each other and try to be kind to those around us. The staff is very involved, and the few cases of bullying have been reported by students and solved by our staff. We even have a policy in which our cheers at games cannot be degrading, and it makes the games so much more fun! I wish that the school district would communicate better on deadlines, dates, and times, but other than that they have been very beneficial.

The Cache County School District hires faculty that truly care about the overall student body. Whether the employee is a janitor, a teacher, a guidance counselor, or a coach, it is clear that they are passionate about their career and love the students they work with. My favorite example of this happened during the first trimester of my senior year. I had a concurrent enrollment English class for first hour, and every day I would walk past one of the janitors cleaning up scuff marks on the tile floor. Every day, he would smile and wave, tell me hello, and ask me how I was doing. This small act of kindness really had a positive impact on me, especially when I had bad days. It was simple day-to-day exchanges like this that made attending school in the Cache County School District so wonderful, and I'm grateful for all of the kind and hardworking faculty members.
I love the environment provided by the Cache County School District. I come to school excited to learn every day, and that's all because of the environment the school board has created. I'm safe, treated well, and have countless opportunities. Overall I couldn't ask for any more to be done by the school district, because the only problems are small, and not a huge problem. Athletics are emphasized, creating an enjoyable environment with everyone invited to participate. Along with this, there is also a huge emphasis on clubs and extracurricular activities to make students lives more involved.
