Burrillville High School offered a decent amount of advanced courses to students. However, the district lacked courses and support for the arts, including video production, theater, and dance. The district was very invested in particular sports, such as football and basketball, but less invested in sports that were not as popular, such as cheer and swim. Overall, I would like to see the Burrillville School District become more inclusive of the vast array of differences of their students to ensure their high school experience is one to cherish for years to come.
Overall a typical suburban high school! Set in the country with a beautiful campus. The school offers college readiness programs and vast sports and music programs along with art and culture.
I really like the opportunities for after school sports. I played field hockey and lacrosse in high school, field hockey in middle school and cross country in elementary school. There are other sports teams, such as soccer, swimming, wrestling and more. We even have our own ice skating rink. It is a great way to have fun, spend time with my friends and keep healthy.
